GirlClutch August Ride!!!

August’s ride took us through Ortega Hwy’s twists and turns, into Dana Point for lunch, and to the coast for a GirlClutch merchandise photo shoot featuring real girl riders as models! We had girls from San Diego and Los Angeles, including a few new girls who hadn’t joined us on a GirlClutch ride yet!

Six girls met at the initial meet-up location in Temecula, and rode up the I-15 to Lake Elsinore and the 74. We rode through Ortega Hwy and stopped at a gas station off of the I-5, where another girl joined. We then rode through surface streets through Capistrano to end at Hennessy’s Fish Bucket in Dana Point off of Pacific Coast Highway for lunch, where two more girls join us, along with our photographer. After lunch, he led us to Heritage Park, where some of the girls found a way to get a few bikes to the top of a flight of stairs (with the help of a long ramp that wrapped its way around a look-out). The photo shoot went well with five girls posing for four shirts to be featured on GirlClutch.com, Facebook and Twitter!

Big thanks to the girls who came out to help model for these shirts! Christin, Laura, Bonnie, Cookie and Sue!
